Uhingen, October 16, 2015 – The Fair Friend Group (FFG) drew a positive conclusion on their EMO 2015 presence. With a range of innovations and a customer-oriented market approach, the stand attracted over 3500 visitors and several substantial orders for high tech projects from various industries were booked. The FFG booth at EMO 2015 was impressive in size with its over 4000 square meters area and the number of innovations. It was the largest booth at EMO 2015, and also the largest booth ever at EMO history. The brands from Germany, Italy Switzerland, the USA, Taiwan, China and Korea presented 31 machine tools from turning and milling in various sizes to hobbing and grinding. These included numerous machine premieres like the first machine of the newly developed Hüller Hille NBH P series of flexible standard machining centers, or the Hessapp DVT 300 with granite machine bed for high precision and stability.

In order to give visitors an insight in their width of technologies and references, the international brands also brought together their various industry specific knowhow in industry displays. The FFG solutions for automotive, aerospace and railway applications were presented in three dedicated areas, giving visitors an impression of the joined knowhow of the respective FFG brands in these industries. Turnkey systems for train wheel or axle machining, references for aluminum, titanium or composite machining of aerospace components, or groundbreaking automotive engine machining developments for reduced emissions, as well as many references were presented with demos, interactive designs and parts. The visitors valued this customer-oriented approach.

Accordingly, the companies were able to report several significant orders. Rotary transfer machines from Pfiffner and Witzig & Frank for automotive and hydraulics customers were sold at the show, as well as turnkey systems for Aerospace applications from Jobs, and turning and milling equipment for various other branches. The majority of the visitors to the stand came from Italy, Germany and China. Among them were high-level delegations from customers and partners.
